The FWC team captured FP-236 on January 16, 2015, in the Flint Pen Strand.  He appeared health except for a sever case of Mange. He weighed 133 lbs. and was estimated to be 6-7 years old.


FP-236 is an infrequent visitor to Corkscrew.  He was first photographed on February 1, 2015. 

Since then, he has passed through the Fish Farm every few months.

His GPS satellite collar failed in June 2015 so we have very limited data on his home range.

The remains of a 9- to 10-year-old radio-collared male panther, FP236, were collected on 3/21/2018 on Rock Road within Golden Gate Estates in Collier County (437239, 2905278). The cause of death was not apparent.
